About
I am currently a principal machine learning research engineer at Bose Research (2017-present). Previously I was a researcher at the CompMusic Project, Music Technology Group (MTG), Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. I received my Ph.D and M.S. from Georgetown University (USA) with a focus on computational linguistics and natural language processing. Before that I received my M.A from the Department of Music, University of Pittsburgh and my B.S. from the College of Environmetal Science and Engineering, Peking University. My research interest is machine learning for NLP and audio. Current research areas at Bose include deep learning for audio applications such as audio understanding, source separation, multimodal models, and generative audio.
